“Extraordinary Lessons Learned After Loss of All Children” 2018, St Louis, Missouri
In 2007, Cathy Cheshire’s only child died at age 16 in a car accident. Ten years later, after a long illness, her husband’s only child died at age 29 when a blood clot caused a stroke. When Cathy’s son died, she knew nothing about grief and didn’t want to go on. She barely existed until realizing that the more she did what she loved in every area of her life, the fewer negative emotions were triggered. She established CathyCheshire.com to highlight thriving after loss resources.
She studied the findings of top grief experts so after her stepson died, the pain was the same, but her grief felt natural. Motivated to continue cultivating her life, she made remarkable discoveries enhancing her appreciation of life. Recognizing the need for affordable, comprehensive, and concise training to effectively inspire individuals who want to heal or those wanting to support grievers, Cathy worked with a group of experts she admires and founded the online “Master Grief Coach” training program with a certification option.
This workshop for adults provides hope and inspiration for attendees to thrive after loss. You will learn:
- Design and implementation of a life action plan for one or all areas of your life.
- How recent neuroscientist research reveals that thought, emotion, and mindfulness may empower you to reach your goals, learn resilience, and understand why some people never change.
- How to experience sadness and joy simultaneously when grieving.
- How to live and find a purpose by following your heart rather than your mind.
- How methods like the Emotional Freedom Technique (also called tapping), Reiki, and sound bathing work to improve your body’s energy.
Worksheets will be provided. Q&A
